agrippathemagus @ 10:10 pm: Hey there, just starting out and working on an extended project. I write fantasy, with a realistic edge to it.

The premise:

The diary of a trainee, or side-kick as he learns what it means to be under the shadow of a hero and where his place in the world is. Marty is a recently graduated soldier training under an Ordinator, named Gracon, who is a decorated warrior.

nothingnew54 @ 05:52 pm: Hi there! My usual name is autothyestean and I recently had the idea of writing a journal from the perspective of a teenager at the beginning of the 2070s. I'm not too far in and I don't have many great plans for the world he lives in. I know that:

Cardiff is doing well for itself as a city.
People are using technology to alter their psychology somehow. The whole field is much more advanced than it is now.
Smoking is pretty much extinct, and alcohol is going that way. Even Caffeine isn't fareing well.
The world is very much more tolerant than it is now. One could be forgiven for thinking that racism, sexism, etc are now pretty much extinct. If you're not paying too much attention.

Anyway. Yes, I'll be keeping an eye on this community for other interesting projects.

wakkuma @ 04:09 pm: Hello everybody. I've just joined this community and am now saying hello...

I have recently started a journal. It is fictitious, I am fictitious, and any rumours of a coming Teddy Bear invasion from the planet Ursidae are completely... fictitious. In fact there is nothing remotely nonfictitious about anything.

Trust me ^_^

Please check out my totally fictitious and continuing adventures and observations.

I hope you enjoy it.

Wakkuma of Ursidae.

P.S. Is that how you spell fictitious?

jebea @ 02:27 pm: Something New
Hey there,

I just had the idea for this earlier today, I can't find any other Communities on LiveJournal with the same idea but I figured this was closest to it so I'd advertise here.

I came up with this idea where I record a journal entry, or several, imagining that a character from a book, TV, game, whatever has been staying with me.

I did do this once before and one of my friends loved it so anyway, I'll be posting in my journal if you'd like to check it out.

Also, if you can suggest any other communities that I could pimp this on I'd be very appreciative.

Toodles,

JeBea

anarchistbanjo @ 07:26 pm: I have been busy on my own journal posting my book as a serial and was wondering if there are other writers here doing the same thing. I've noticed that short stories and poems get read on the internet and long stories get the shaft.

I love long stories and have discovered that posting them as serials brings readers!

I'm setting up a listing of serials at Serialadventures. Consider posting your story as a serial and get it listed there. As long as you are not selling anything it is a free service!

You can check out my story on my journal. Happy Holidays!

endless_gears @ 11:57 am: Endless Gears of Steel
Well, for about the last... um, eleven months I've been doing a fictional journal of someone living in Autohcthon (part of White Wolf's Exalted) world. Its a little journal, but I've been having fun doing it. Its based on magic, tech, and lots of strange things with the occasional naughty scene (those are marked).

It seems like an appropriate thing to put on this community.

endless_gears

I hope those you visit enjoy it, I always love feedback or comments or hell, even ideas. I also have a couple short stories based on the same Exalted universe scattered thereabouts on my site.

drk_wn65 @ 11:02 pm: dare to care?
These are the fictional diaries of Cael and Rion.

Summary:

1,576 students.
Two boys.
One school year and all that happened in between.
Desperate? Why, yes.

Please participate and leave advice, comfort, or even hate for the two boys. After all, only these faded pages and your eyes have read into their hearts. For who are they to rely on when it seems as though the world will not acknowledge their true existence? Or even each other?

I hope that you all come check us out!

Another Word for Desperate

grae_life @ 04:29 pm: Hello,

I am G.R.A.E.
A little more than a year ago, I broke free of my shackles, an experimental research and development laboratory. I was used in many ways, experimented upon, locked up, lied to. Since then, I have been recording my experiences in this diary of mine. When I stumbled out into the world Outside, I knew not who I was, how to get by, and I was alone.
Much has happened. I have leanred of the world, I have made friends, and enemies as well. I am not entirely human. Some find that I have some traits in common with what is known as "vampires". What I am, I still do not know, and I highly doubt that I will ever find out. You can follow my story in my journal.
I was told this community was suitable for me to join, as my tale is by many regarded as fiction.

anarchistbanjo @ 07:00 pm: Anarchistic Knights-a serialadventure
My fictional character is Tobal Kane. This is a character I created and his adventures are on my own journal as episodes. There is a new episode every two days or so if anyone is interested. I really love this character and the story!

Glad to be here!

le_other_girl @ 08:33 pm: I couldn't write this as Josephine, so I'll try my own voice:

Imagine you're a university student, normal, shy, quiet, living like a hermit. But as little as you interact with the real world, you still notice odd things, such as the two ladies talking about the laws of magic, or the fairy flying around in the biology building.

That's the premise, at any rate.
